General Questions

Do I have the ability to mute my line? (Participant/Leader)

Participants or Leaders can mute their line individually by pressing *6 (star six). To un-mute simply press *6 (star six) again.

Do I have the ability to mute other participants’ lines? (Presenter)

At anytime participants need to be muted, press *0 (star zero) and an operator can assist.

What do I need to do if I want to place selected participants on hold or mute? (Leader)

At anytime participants need to be muted, press *0 (star zero) and an operator can assist.

Can I lock my conference for additional security?

A leader or participant can lock the conference at any time for additional security. To do so, simply press *7 (star seven) to lock/unlock the meeting. Once this feature is in use, participants and operators alike will not have access to your conference. If operator assistance is needed, the conference must first be unlocked before an operator can join.

How do I end my conference?

To end your conference, simply hang up your phone. Or if you prefer, you may press *0 (star zero) and an operator can ensure that all lines have been disconnected.

Can I get a list of who attended my conference call?

The participant list can be requested at the time the call is scheduled. Participant lists can also be gathered with shorter notice by pressing *0 (star zero) before the leader disconnects from the conference call. Simply let the operator know you would like a participant list emailed or faxed directly.

What is a Q&A conference call?

Our Q&A option involves a dedicated operator who facilitates the opening of the call as well as audience participation in an organized and controlled environment. Speakers are designated and are given the ability to speak and be heard throughout the duration of the conference, while all other participants are placed in a listen-only mode until the opportunity for questions is announced. At this point, callers with questions are introduced by the operator and are given the ability to speak and be heard by all in attendance. Once their question has been asked and answered, their line is placed back in a listen-only mode.
